Sala Secreta is a two-room recording and production facility located in Suzano, SP, co-operated with producer Pedro Ponce. The studio serves as an operational hub for independent music production across the Alto Tietê region.

The infrastructure consists of two fully interconnected environments: a tracking room configured for rehearsals and live multitrack recording, and an acoustically treated suite dedicated to production and mixing. The facility specializes in live session production, balancing early-2000s broadcast aesthetics with high-fidelity audio engineering.

Following public funding via the Aldir Blanc cultural initiative in 2024, the studio executed a program of subsidized technical workshops, free studio access, and production support for emerging projects throughout 2025. The space serves as the primary baseline facility for personal mixing and production workflows.

CYRÓ ARTIST RESIDENCY
Tiradentes, MG - Brazil
September 2024

Video by Theo Guarnieri
CYRÓ
A one-week open-ended research residency at CYRÓ, situated in rural Tiradentes, Brazil. The practice focused on site-specific audio installation and real-time composition interacting with the natural landscape.

The technical framework utilized outdoor PA systems and quadraphonic speaker arrays to examine spatial interaction, harmony, and tension between electronic soundscapes and environmental acoustics. This field study directly informed subsequent approaches to ambient music and site-specific playback context.

Collaborative outputs included real-time multi-disciplinary sessions: live painting accompaniment by visual artist Danilo Chamas, and a concluding nocturnal performance alongside Aline Vieira (Flores Feias / Meia Vida) and Maria Anália, blending ambient, noise, and musique concrète in an unlit outdoor environment.

PHOTOGRAPHiC STUDIES
Utilizing both analog and digital formats, the practice is driven by texture analysis across organic, synthetic, architectural, and human surfaces, with a focus on material decay.

Analog workflows leverage the specific characteristics of expired film stocks and vintage lenses. Digital processing via Lightroom emphasizes manipulation of contrast and structural detail.
